His wife Maureen McTeer was with him, but would not let me photograph her because she had just broken her arm and didn’t want to be pictured with a cast. As I remember she broke her arm in a wild Ferris Wheel ride at local fair. At the time I was the the editor/photographer for the Lakefield Leader

New Orleans Mascot. The Name of a Drink. It is da Bomb! In New Orlean’ you can walk with an open container of booze, as long as it is made of plastic. The New Orleans Grenade is sold in take-out bars throughout the French Quarter. It comes in a tall long stem plastic container that has a bulb shaped like a Grenade. Smooth tasting, but, very very deadly – but no worries, only your head will explode.. This is how you make a Grenade.
1½ ounces gin.
1½ ounces grain alcohol.
1½ ounces melon liqueur.
1½ ounces vodka.
1½ ounces rum.
